President Bassirou Diomaye Faye granted an audience to the President of the Constitutional Council, Aminata Ly Ndiaye, on Friday, November 14, 2025.
“The meeting provided an opportunity to review the institution’s operations, examine identified challenges, and discuss upcoming reforms to strengthen the rule of law,” according to a statement from the presidency.
The same source indicates that the Head of State reaffirmed his commitment to a modern, impartial constitutional justice system fully dedicated to democratic stability, institutional transparency, and public trust.
